However he came up with a better idea of insulating over the old boards, (which didn't need replacing!) with 50mm roofing Celotex panels. Two layers of material then covered these panels. I also asked him to quote me for my garage flat roof and bedroom dormer window flat roofs. They didn't need doing either! I really appreciated the honesty.
